Manufacturing equipment for solar cells and fuel cells
In close collaboration with worldleading experts within the solar cell industry, DEK has developed the PV1200 metallization line for production of photovoltaic cells. The line combines the DEK PV1200 screen printer with purpose designed material handling systems with a wafer dryer, loader, unloader, buffer, inspection and flipper. This manufacturing platform can also be used for production of thin-film PV cells.
DEK has also developed a series of processes and products specially for manufacture of fuel cells which means that fuel cells can be manufactured in a high-speed automatized production line which will deliver large numbers of high-quality fuel cells at a low unit cost.

Inspection of wafers
ATMVision AG develops and manufactures both standard and customized systems for automatic optical inspection and measurement of solar cells. ATM systems inspect micro cracks in silicon wafers and also in completed modules.
